Making Room at the Table: Planning for a Post-COVID Local Food System

Hosted by Michelle McCabe, Director of the Center of Food Equity and Economic Development (FEED) with the Council of Churches of Greater Bridgeport since 2014. 

The FEED Center leverages food, church kitchens, staff and community partners to support the physical and financial health of Bridgeport area residents. 

FEED operates a culinary careers training program, a shared-use incubator kitchen, a social enterprise making packaged foods from recovered produce, a mobile marketplace selling fresh produce to low-access areas of Bridgeport, and supports a network of over 30 food pantries and soup kitchens with funds, food, programming, and technical assistance.
