In the face of recent tragedies, we must come together to affirm the fundamental goodness of life and the sanctity of our existence. Our common humanity and our ethnic, religious and cultural diversity are great gifts. Our religions all teach us to be sources of light and hope in the face of the darkness of despair. In times like these, we are called to pray, remember, and to act. We aim to come together as one human family, standing up for each other and for our common home.
