Make Music with Recycled Items at Fairfield’s Earth Day Celebration, Sat, 4/25

Recycled MusicAt the Fairfield’s Earth Day Celebration, Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Fairfield Warde High School, 755 Melville Avenue, folk music maker and inveterate re-purposer, Evelyn Avoglia will be offering an array of simple projects to turn household recyclables and reusables into rhythm instrument. Stop by the MusicMakingMe table to craft a shaker, scraper, box drum or duo-chord finger drum, the play, play, play! Easy and fun for all ages.

Evelyn, a.k.a Dr. Ev, has been conducting Youth Services programs at the Ferguson Library in Stamford, and other venues since the last century!  She has also composed many songs for worship at the Benedictine Grange in W. Redding, has directed, presented, and/or participated in music making and cultural community events in Fairfield and Westchester Counties.
